Hey, if you like history stuff, Tallahassee's got that all over. Go to the "mastodons and murats" post in my blog, clock the link for get out and see Tallahassee, and there's addresses and descriptions of a dozen good places to start. My favorite is the Tallahasee Museum (locals still call it by its old name, the Junior Museum). It's half history and half Florida wildlife. There's a whole old farmstead, an old caboose, panthers, gators, bears, you name it. You walk around the huge place on raised wooden walkways, it's not like a normal zoo. That's out off Capital Circle toward the airport.

Seriously, this is as dry as we've been in a century. It's got to rain soon.
